Features & Licensing

Each display unit is a self contained small computer about the size of a credit card.  They are built on open source design and are encoded with open source software primarily Linux OS.  We do install our proprietary software on these units and that is what powers your signage.  They include 4 USB 2.0 ports and 1 10/100 ethernet port for access as well as built in WiFi and Bluetooth.  WiFi requires a powerful radio for it to contact as there is only a short antenna in the unit itself.

Licensing for the Linux OS is provided under the GPL licensing agreement aka General Public License and is freely available.  Our proprietary software is licensed to the purchaser for use on these devices only and may not be redistributed or copied without the express permission or compensation for such and is not transferrable without the express written permission of Web OnRamp Networks LLC.
